This post contains all my information on the post production side of work. It clearly demonstrates and shows all sections and part throughout my improving and editing process. I go over what it took to make my film and how I made in premier pro and what editing techniques/skills I used in that process. It also demonstrates my creative process throughout all my drafts and version of my film through feedback and improvement I show all the steps it took to get to a point I was happy with my film.
My process into creating the trailer -
My process into creating Draft 1 -
Firstly i started by opening premier pro and naming the project draft 1, I names it draft 1 because if I think it needs improving and I get feedback on those improvement's I can create multiple drafts of the film clearly showing my progress and betterment for the film, After I created a folder names ''horror movie clips'' i did this because i wanted to drag all the clips from my production into one folder that would have made it easier in the long run because i can drag whatever clip i want into the premier pro project and not worry about looking for that clip i would clearly know its from my most recent production.
This is a screenshot of me dragging over 30 individual files into the ''horror movie clips'' folder once this was sorted i was able to get editing and get comfortable without wasting time sorting clips. In the folder it also contained the audio files i might need access to and any downloaded images or youtube non copyright horror tracks throughout editing i wanted and had ideas of adding music and certain tracks to increase the strength and overall feel of the movie itself. By keeping them in this folder i wont lose any of the important editing clips i can keep editing without looking for certain things in my post production projects.
After that i began to start my editing process with naming the project and jumping in and adding all the clips from the folder and i began placing them into the Project panel where the clips would sit eventually be added to the timeline
This is one of the many clips i was dragging into the timeline to start and build the film up. I used this specific clip highlighted in the screenshot because i wanted this shot to be the opening and starting with the specific clip gave me a track and a foundation to where to place the other clips and make it chronological order. Whilst putting all of the clips into one folder that means some of the clips were not usable because of sound, video or just production proplems so i began after editing the opening i gradually took and deleted the not usable clips when i was doing the film in order i had multiple or similiar clips and that was because i did multiple shoots of the same scene to make sure and i picked out the best one as i went along the editing process and deleted the ones from the project panel box.
Aftter sorting through the clips i wanted to finish and began the actual film editing. I created an intro sequence that i think would fit the film and add to it. I added 2 or 3 clips to the timeline of corey (killer) finishing of a dead body this was a good choice to film and make the opening it helped me piece and splice the clips better overall together. some clips feel like there are missing sequencing so i made sure the intro connected and felt offical to the film. I also added a defaul transition. I faded to black towards corey (killer) looking up to conner and chloe's character's i thought adding a transition would help bridge the gap and a little bit of tension to the film overall. I rendered the opening because for some reason when placing the clips amongst eachother i found that the frames kept lagging and ruining the transition and fade into the other clip. Rendering the opening clips helped fix that and the overall quality of the film.
After that i began to put the clips into a sequence on the timline in order i double backed to the storyboard and followed the plan of how i wanted the film to look after geting all the right clips sorted. I needed to make sure they didnt have laughing or too much wind in them some of the clips ended up being bloopers that werent really usable. Some of the clips were usable but towars the end some laughing or noise was picked up so i cut and made sure every clip in the film felt good enough and was proffesional enough to be in the film. After around 10 - 20 mins of editing i finally got all the clips into a chronological order sequence that i ended up liking. I made sure it had a outro sequance as well.
Moving on after getting my intro sorted i realized that the intro didnt feel that scary to begin with or any clip it felt a little cheesy and redundant without good music so as a test for draft 1 and the overall film i wanted some music i could put in and go from there. I seleceted this 1 hour of dark piano music i listen to alot of it and realized its slow but eery and with the clips i think this would be a good background music but it woudnt distract or takeaway the attention from the orginal filmed clips. I dowloaded this in the highest audio quaility possible and dragged into the ''horror clips'' folder and the premiere pro project panel. Once doing so i dragged onto the timeline and matched it with the clips and the intro sequence.
Once it was in the timline and matched with the clips and intro i needed to sort and make sure it fit with the film throughout the film not just one clip or two. so i picked the best audio track out of the 1 hour version and tracked it across the timeline to match and fit with the film. Once done that i ran through it and listened and wathced to see it if it fit. It ended up being a good first sample of music but it ended up being way louder than i wanted and you could barely hear the orginal filmed clips. So i selected the green bar and right clicked and clicked the ''audio gain'' option and turned it down by - 10 and that felt quiet enough but you could still hear the audio track with the clips as well.
In this screengrab i needed to edit and change the scale and position of the clips for some reason when i put the clips into premier pro they werent as zoomed in as i would have liked so i changed the scale slightly to not only increase the size of the screen but also to give it a proffesional 1920 x 1080/ 16:9 ratio. I also changed the position on some of the clips either by pulling to the left or right or up or down a little. Most clips didnt need the position editing but some needed just a little nudge to make the clip match more and feel more linear against the other clips in the timeline.
Through editing one of the scenes i had was where chloe finds and goes up to the dead body (martin) in this i filmed two scenes one where she was speaking and looking at the body and the second one was where she was kicking the body whilst also still speaking. I filmed both perspectives because i wanted them to be spliced together in editing i thought it would add more to the overall project. In editing though i realized that the audio tracks were slightly differant no matter how hard we tried we coudnt repeat the same tone and voice. So i duplicated the audio tracks where she was looking at the body and i transfered over to the kicking scene once that was done i unlinked the audio tracks and video tracks and places the kicking scene in the middle of her speaking it came out much better than i expected i liked the cutting back part i thought it added and was something after messing with unlinking and certain audion tracks it was more than possible. Im glad it worked out because the scene fits into the movie with the quick snappy editing between both clips.
I also encountered another main issue whilst editing this clip is where conner is leaving chloe because he is not bothered to wait around and help a ''dead body'' in the scene conner walks of a little and turns around and realized chloe is gone. I put this clip before we see chloe fight ghost face because i wanted him to realize shes gone and her fighting whilst hes looking. But i realized its such a quick scene it doesnt work that well. After messing around with duration and placement. I put the clip after chloe's fight so we see conner look and realize shes gone only to find her dead two seconds later. Overall this helped and looked way better than i orginally thought it was. Deciding to change where i put the clip made the film just a little than it was going to be. In storyboarding it felt right to put the scene there but as filming went on i realized the clips are a little differant for two reasons, Differant castmates and improvisation, which wasnt a bad thing just means some scenes would be slightly differant so i worked around that as well in editing so the quality of the film didnt diminish as I went on.
Towards the end of editing. i thought it would be good for the end clip to fade to black not only because it would look good it would match with the tone of the film. once conner started to turn in the clip i slowly transitioned it to black giving a sad but a finished ending to my film. I also wanted the music to go on after it faded to black because i wanted the audience to sit with the movie for an extra ten seconds. With that it gave the film more a drawn out horror vibe which is what i was going for. Having the music be exteneded just for an extra ten or so seconds made the film that much better in my opinion and im glad i also faded out the audio as well. I wanted the audio not just to end abruptly that would appear undone and unproffesional so fading it out helped keep the proffesionalism and overall quality within the film. It also made sense since the rest of the movie had transtitions and this one was vital.
Once finished with editing and making sure everything looked okay. I began to render by doing that i used the took ''Mark in'' and ''mark out'' tool by doing this i can choose the specific location i want to render i put the mark in tool at the beginning and the mark out tool at the end of the film so it ended up rendering 00:00 to 02:08 this meant it wasnt rendering the entire timline or if there was left over clips across it it would just render what i want to render and keep that in the timeline once it came to exporting the eventual video. I then went to sequence and render in to out. By doing this it rendered all the frames i chosen to render. 25 video previews were rendered in about 20 minutes or so once this was done i watched over the video one final time to make sure it was ready to export and get feedback for this specific draft.
Once everything was good to go. rendering done and editing all done i began to export the video to be assessed and gather feedback to get to that point i made sure the format was H.264 this is a universal format i have used throughout exporting all the videos i have done in the past as well. Also makings sure the preset is the high quality (blue selected tick in screengrab) once doing both of these options i clicked export and waiting around 20 - 25 mins for it to finish exporting once that was done i uploaded it to YouTube specifically my YouTube account this is where all my work and projects go so it would naturally go on there anyhow. After i uploaded it to YouTube i made sure to add to my blog finishing off my draft 1 development. Once finishing my draft 1 I wanted to get feedback on this film any feedback that I feel is warranted and helpful I'm going to add it to the film and go back into editing making sure the quality of the film is good enough.
Shriek! (draft 1) -
This is my finished draft 1 of my film. Im going to gather feedback for this film and hopefully get good feedback i can listen and improve on once doing so i will go back and add those suggestions and upload into a ''draft 2'' version.
Feedback for Shriek! (draft 1) -
I created a survey using google forms i wanted to use this site because it has good option into creating a proffesional survey. After that i uploaded the draft into the survey for people to watch and listed two questions for them to answer. What do you rate out of ten? and any suggestions i can add to the film?
These two questions would give me a basis on the quality and whats needed for the film the rating question will slowly go up once I add all the necessary additions into the film project. Also the second question allows people to give thier opinions on what could added to benifit the film. After that i sent the film around to people i know to friends and peers and got some feedback that i could look at.
In the feedback alot of differant answers were given to me. Firstly the rating question was quite differant alot of people said between 6/10 and 9/10 overall they all agree that i need to improve on some areas or the overall project itself. I agree with that as well but starting a draft 1 with what i felt was okay gives me the foundation to go up and improve on the suggested feedback. Secondly the suggestions I was given was a good range of variety of helpful suggestions that I can actually add To the editing process. People suggested an extra scene or two to help build the runtime and show more to come. Someone suggested essentially ''post credit scene'' to the film to tease a possible sequal or a part 2 to the film. I do have some extra footage that i think potentially good work as a post credit scene or final scene for the film. People also suggested multiple music tracks in the film this is also a really good suggestion because in some scenes its more of a one on one contact rather than building scary suspense to the film. So having differant music tracks could help build the quality to the film. This is also possible for me to add just need to make sure the tracks can fit within eacother. Another comment said the clips were shaky in some scenes and a bit messy they suggested to make them less shaky. Normally this isnt really possible because i would have to re film everything and make sure its ''not shaky''. Luckily there is tools that help post production in premier pro there are certain resources i can use to help with the overall ''shaky'' look. i can improve on that 100% and is a good suggestion. Lastly people said that they should be a title card and some credit scenes at the end they claimed it seems unproffesional and not as good as it could be. This is something i agree with i wanted to do credits but i wanted to see if the film itself was strong enough without credits and people seems to point out credits rather than the quality of the film. Once getting this feedback and seeing people suggest things i can add to the film i will go back into premier pro and add them into a new project called Shriek! (Draft 2).
My process into creating Shriek! (Draft 2) -
Well since i was creating draft two and i already had edited the first draft
so the foundation on editing was already in place i didnt need to re edit the whole thing again.
Once doing this i began to implement the suggested feedback i was given.
I started by adding one extra clip peope were suggesting a post credit sequence of sorts and I added a clip I was going to use for the end fight scene but cut due to time and placement so I ended up using it for the end sequence which worked perfectly fitting into the film felt better than leaving out than orginally intented . After sorting the clips and adding the new one in i Started by adding the Warp Stabilizer tool this is a tool that helps with the stabilization on the video clip. One of the main suggestions that the clips were a little shaky and all over the place and it ruined the affect of the horror film. By adding these clips to each of the clips i presented in the timeline I added the Warp stabilizer to all of them. The clips began to stabilize but in doing so i had to re render all of the clips through the sequence after all the clips were sorted and smoothed over. After I quickly went to re render the footage again this would make my job more easier and efficiant when applying the other suggestions. I rendered all of the footage it took around about 10 minutes to render.
After sorting the clips out with the warp stablizer i moved on to credits because in my feedback people pointed out that my film was a little lack luster without credits or any sort of identity towards the end of the film. I added credits to the film i went through differant options and played around with an opening credit for the film and a end credit section for the film. I ended up doing both for the film the end credit sequence took some time whilst the opening credit took not as long just had to position the credit and change the font to match the overall theme of the film.
This was one of three options i decided on I went with the option because of the space between the letters i thought it looked more bold and proffesional i ended up deleteting the bottom text though since it was an invidual project I didnt need a bottom subtitle. After that i ended up putting this before the opening sequence and messed around with the positioning and placement of the font. In doing so i realized that the overall font was quite bland so i ended up adding some shadows and chose a better font for the film. I ended up finding a font that was similiar to the iconic sans serif font used in the populer horror movie ''SCREAM'' this font was almost identical and i thought this would be a nice homage to that film since i was greatly inspired by the film to create this short horror film. After sorting the opening credits I added a opening transition and end transition (fade to black specifically) I wanted this to increate the drawn out feel of the credits by doing so it only increased the eeryiness for the film.
After getting the opening credits I selected credits that would fit my film and overall cast. Since there was a decent amount of people involved in the film i needed credits that would highlight that. With these credits i selected that were called ''classic credits'' this allowed me to edit all of them but had key roles that i needed to show off for example it had a director, executive producer, producer, costume designer, music composer and set designer all of these credits were proffesinonal and were greatly needed for me and my castmates to show the credits we specifically worked in. For instance i was a Director, producer and costume designer so having these options helped me massively fill in the credits properly and proffesionally.
After sorting the credits and placing in the right place. I ended up placing it after 5 seconds of the final shot. I also transitioned it in fade to black in the credit it helped the overall proffesional look and not look rushed. After i began to edit all of the textboxed in the left screengrab. I wanted each one to be done correctly and spelt corecctly so i made sure to spell and properly detail each one. I started filling in the credits i went from changing some of the words as well to my film. I put my name into many of the credits as well as all of my cast mates. Corey Burnett was given an actor credit as well as executive producer role. Conner Bainbridge was given an actor credit and executive producer role as well. Amy kilbride helped massively with filming and was given a executive producer and producer credit. Martin binyon helped play the beginning and fitted into the actor credit very well. Chloe lamb filled in for Tyler Hawkins. Due to schedualing conflicts he had to pull out and chloe filled in for his role whilst also taking upon set design and helping me with costume design. I gave her an acting, Set designer and costume design credit. Finally me I was on set at all times directing the film as well producing the film and helping with costume design. However i also was the D.O.P and i wrote the screenplay and story so I had the most credits of course but all of my fellow cast mates were highlighted and showed of correctly and proffesionally. They all helped tremendously and Icoudnt achieve the film without them so giving them the deserved credits was only right and fair.
After that I started to re organize all the credits in the correct and proffesional order accordingly. I notice some credits were smaller than others and i wanted to fix that so on the left hand corner there were tools to let me edit all the clips and move them however i want and in doing that i slightly adjusted the position of the credits to make it more even amongst eachother. Also editing the size of the credits i wanted all but one credit to be the same size I wanted all of the credits to be linked apart from ''JCKMRE productions presents'' credit I needed and wanted that to be bigger becasuse it shows who designed the film and produced It.
'
After adding all of the credits into the film and placing them accordingly I needed to render the footage again Not only because I added an extra clip but due to the credits being added at the beginning and the end that also made some parts of the film un rendered and overall choppy so i began to sequence the footage ''in to out''' this means it would render all the footage in the timeline and once done it would stop rendering and show with a green colored bar once this was done it shows that all the footage is rendered and at the highest quality there is for frame rate in the specific clips.
After all of the improvement's I simply repeated the process of the first draft by exporting the video and naming it draft 2 and putting it into the same folder that I put draft 1 and of course uploading that to YouTube and placing into my blog straight after. In exporting i made sure to repeat and copy the settings I used for the first draft I needed to make sure the settings were the same or it could appear worse. So I selected the correct format and quality which was more than easy and was ready to export this took about 20 - 27 mins a bit longer than draft 1 but that was expected because of the little extra footage and added credits into the film.
Shriek! (Draft 2) -
This is Draft two of my film with some of the added suggestions I want to make sure it looks good before getting ahead of myself I am going to get some feedback for this draft as well. I will add whatever suggested feedback i get sent within professional reason. If its a really good suggestion and I agree then i will create a new version called draft 3 and go from there.
Before uploading draft 2.5 I Had an issue with the warp stabalizer tool on at the start of the film for some reason when i went to upload and export the differant version it came up as analzing on one of the clips this coudnt be uploaded of course becuase covers and distracts the main part of the film. When watching over the draft it looks like this (Screengrab below) and i knew that wasnt good enough i went back into premier pro and took out the clip and removed the warp stabilzer tool I then re edited that clip the same way and added the warp tool back in. This time i waited a bit longer before exporting just to make sure i woudnt have the same issue. After looking on the timeline and double checking everything appeared looking good I of coures re rendered the footage due to the face i added a new clip and warp tool and doing that makes the timeline out of symc. After rendering I went to export and made sure the right settings were chosen once again. After exporting, taking around 10 - 20 mins, I watched over it again and that fixed the issue of the blue bar. Im glad i did this because not noticing this could have been a fatel error in my blog and overall project.
Shriek! (Draft 2.5) -
This is a also a slightly different draft I called it 2.5 because I don't think its enough to be an entirely new draft but I still wanted it to be seen because I like both of the videos but i think getting feedback and opinions on it could help with what video I want and should go with to continue with editing.
In this draft (2.5) I put the opening credits after the opening clip I thought it could change the film slightly and give it a longer look it also gave the film some spacing in my opinion as opposed to draft two.
With both of these drafts I am going to get feedback for both on google forms as well as getting a film group together and getting my cast mates and some peers I know to see both versions and see which they like and prefer more and what they like about the film, what they dislike about the film and what they think could be improved/suggestions all of these different types of feedback will help me massively creating my third and final draft which will end up being the final product hopefully.
In this film group I am going to be asking for 8 important questions as well as asking for feedback or overall suggestions for the third and final draft. I am going to be conducting this with my cast mates from the film which help me get a good basis for the film since they were in the film they want and know what to improve.
The questions I am going to be asking are -
Do you have a preference between the two versions, if so which is you favorite?
Do you think the product is positive or negative, if so why?
Is this suitable for Sunderland culture exhibition highlighting young talent?
Do you think the product suitable for your age group?
What Changes would you make to the product?
Any particular concerns about the product?
Is there anything you liked most about the product?
Any feedback and suggestions?
After getting the feedback from the film group I am going to be putting these suggestions and feedback into the third and final draft. That will end up being my final version ready to be uploaded.
Photo of me setting up part 1 and 2 getting ready for feedback and assessed thoughts.
This is part 1 and 2 of my film group I wanted all of my cast mates to answer honestly and detailed to give me the best possible chance of improving and making the film it deserves to be. The reasdon there is two parts on the first part they had some issues understanding the question and the formality of it so we re did the questions I felt could be answered again in a better manner. Overall the film group was a massive succsess they all gave helpful suggestions and got to watch the film. Firstly one of the main improvments/suggestions was that I could add or do a poster this is something i thought about it and getting suggestions alluding to that as well helps me understand the importance of it. I will end up doing a poster and detialing my poster progress in this blog. They also mentioned they prefer draft 2.5 (2) they said they think the ''credits look more official'' and I agree completly this is the draft I was leaning towards but there comments help me finalize the decision. They also mentioned small and good suggestions to the film i can improve on now which is some more transitions and change the level of the music gain. The music was a tad too loud and it was hard to make out the actors talking in the film. Finally they mentioned something I can take on board in the future they mentioned spending more time in the pre production phase and not rushing it. They also said increase the run time it would help the film alot seem bigger than it actually is. Overall I agree I rushed in some areas because of re drafts and pre production proplems that made me scared for the film I felt like I need to finish as fast as i could and my product has suffered becaue of it. This is good because now i know i wont be rushing and carefully planning and exucting my next projects. The suggested feedback in all areas is a massive help to me not only helping decide what i can improve on but also helpful suggestions and notes for the future of my media career.
My process into creating Shriek! draft 3 -
The process was very similiar to the first two and a half drafts with the normal feedback it gave me open ended suggestions to improve whilst the film group really gave me personal and honest feedback I can learn from and improve on. With that the first thing I did was hop back into my save file on premier pro and started to work through the suggested feedback The main one straight away was the audo so firstly I unlinked the audio tracks and video tracks I wanted to to this so I can get closer look between each second, milasecond and more to edit the specific place where the audio picks up and I can improve on it slightly. Also this is the version of draft 2.5 in my suggested film group the common sensis was that version 2 was much better and cinamtically pleasing. With that I continued to improve on that version.
After seperating the audio tracks I changed the audio gain slighly I started quite slow and listen to it all after changing the audio gain i wanted to make sure it sounded good all the way no in some areas. If some areas are more quiet than others that wont look good for a final product so I wanted and made sure every second of the film had good quality audio but in the suggested feedback they said it was slightly too loud so I wanted to adjust just a little to not ruin the product but just better it overall. I adjusted by -4 I played around with other numbers but -4 was just quiet enough that it didnt dimish or it wasnt unhearable.
Movin on Another suggested feedback I also wanted to do was put my business card into the film at the end with that I had to find a space for it. So in between the final scene and end of the film there was a decent amount of left over space and i simply just cut the perfect amount that i wanted for my business card and deleted the that specific video track and slotted in the business card photo. Instantly I added two fading transitions this made the overall transition from black to white I didnt want the business card to just suddenly appear i knew i wanted it to transition nicely. I also extended the duration of the business card slightly I want the audience and any viewer to get a good look of business card i put alot of effort into and i think highlighting is deserving.
I needed to adjust the size of the business card as well, i coudnt have it small and not readable, I clicked ont the pink box and that highlighted the clip and went into the effect controls tab and on the left there is 2 main options i used to make the business card fit perfectly, positition and scale, These both help me massively fit and make sure the business card is in the middle and not out of frame slightly i turned the dial up to 197.0 for the scale this made the business card take full effect and fill out the screen which is just what i wanted. As well for the position was 960.0 and 540.0 these were just slight notes to make sure the business card was in the middle and looking clean. I didnt want the card to be more to the left or right it needed to be in the middle for proffesionalism.
After position and fitting it into the timeline I needed to blur my phone number out this is because the video will be in the puplic eye and having my phone number on youtube can be dangourous and I would like to keep my personal information private. I knew how do to this because i have used the blur effect before in another video, specifically my show reel I learnt how to use the blur tool and its nice knowing there are more options in premier to experiment with. I dragged the channel blur onto the business card box and started to form a rectangle shape around it to try blur but after trying and trying there wasnt any option to blur the box, only colours and around it, I was getting confused because i know i have used this before in this exact situation I deleted the business card and tried the effect again but nothing was working sadly. It wasnt giving the percent blur option which is what i used before to change the selected area i wanted to blur it just wasnt working sadly. (below on left hand side was the options that were showing up none of which i needed) I had to go back into my old blog from a couple of months ago to remember my steps I was sure I was doing the right thing. After looking for a about half an hour i realized there are two blur effects and the one i ended up using was Camera blur not channel blur slightly differant but easy to get confused by. After that i removed the channel blur effect and searched for the camera blur effect.
Once searching the effect I came across it. I quickly realized how i chose the wrong option i searched blur and it came up with channel blur but in that box there was only that option no other option so I instanly thought it was the right option. Camera blur was in a seperate catagory thats why I forgot about it. Once looking I repeated the same process similiar to channel blur firstly dragging the effect onto the business card photo and starting a rectangle shape box and slowly forming around the number and making it fit around it. I did this because I dont want the blur to effect the rest of the card if it did it can appear lazy or I didnt try so i made sure the box was tight and just around the number perfectly. once doing that I looked around in the effect controls tab on the left and sighed with relief finding the option/tab i was looking for in the first place which was the ''percent blur'' this allows you to control how blur your selceted area is. The option can go from 0 to 100 which gave me more than enough control to experiment how blurry I wanted the area to be.
In this image on the left hand side you can see the tab percent blur which was the most crucial aspect now. After that I created two boxed the first one didnt really work out as you can see on the percent blur tab it says zero which isnt the case because you would see the phone number. The reason why it is blurred because I had to redo it slightly and found the circle box gave me more control in which areas I wanted to be blurred and wasnt that hard. After sorting and perfecting the area around the phone number I started to experiment and play with the bar I landed on 25 this was the perfect balance of blur but nothing too distracting to take away from the main card. I could have went blurrier than that but in my opinion its blurry enough that you cant make out the personal info and still looks good amongst the card.
This was the Final render I had to do for the video experimenting with blur and effects made the bar yellow and red repeatedly and i thought it would be easier to export all in one just before exporting the video. With that I put the ''mark in and mark out'' tools around the start of the film and the end of the film. The mark out tool was slightly longer than before because of the business card but that wasnt even an issue just something i noticed during editing. After doing that I went on the sequence tab and rendered in to out and waiting around about 15 mins to render. After this was just to export the video and upload it youtube closing in to end now!
The final Task in premier pro was to export it. This was like rocket science following the previous steps like before making sure the settins havent changed and are the right setting for film. After I changed the name to draft 3 and dragged into the right folder next to all my previous drafts incase I need accsess to it again after uploading. It always good to have a back up! Then I pressed export waiting around 10 - 20 mins and just sighed with relief doing close to 4 drafts I was relieved to be nearly done. This will be my essential final product with a final feedback being assessed on it seeing any final changes I could add to film or seeing if its ready for viewing pleasure for all. After that i uploaded it to youtube and Placed in to my blogger amongst all the rest of the previous drafts.
Shriek! (Draft 3) -
This will be the final version. It will being going in my final product blog post Before that gets uploaded im going to make sure it is liked and ready in that post im going to get one final feedback assement via google forms and see what could be added or is it good enough as it is. The final suggestions and feedback will go into draft 3. The feedback i expect wont be massive or severe since I have done the heavy suggestions and now it surely will be small things i can add wont break the film. But will certianly improve it. The improved version will be uploaded via youtube and be ready for assessment.
Conclusion -
With all that being done in terms of pre production and production and nearly post production This project has been a taught one because of major setbacks and personal reasons. Everything had an effect on the film and has stopped it slightly the overall project is good and enjoyable but given the time I know i can do better and should have. With all the pre production in plan Things got messy along the way with actors and filming making me rush in some areas sadly leaving for underdeveloped film plot points. However I think i have greatly improved the film with editing and techniques in premiere pro some of filming has been hard and messy but post production has allowed me to redeem myself in those areas and fix any errors i can. I have also demonstrated and clearly show how i have edited, experimented and tried with this project via screenshots and written descriptions. This post has helped me showcase my technical skill. Through talking and developing my project i have been precise, clear and professional.
